Fiona is Technical Compliance Director at Beacon Compliance.Fiona joined Beacon Compliance in 2020 as a Technical Compliance Consultant, then progressed to a Senior Technical Compliance Consultant before developing into her new role within the company.
Fiona’s career began as a Technical Assistant at a large cake manufacturing company supplying retailers such as Asda, Co-op Sainsburys, Tesco where she developed a keen eye for detail and a deep understanding of food safety regulations.She then moved to working in meat preparations and fat production as the Technical Manager, implementing BRCSG food safety systems, from there on Fiona has held roles such as Quality Manager in Pet Food Manufacturing and Technical Manager of a bakery.With over 15 years in the food industry, Fiona has a proven track record of implementing food safety systems and improving food safety systems such as BRCGS, SALSA, FSA across a range of food categories including: Alcohol, Bakery, Chocolate, Dairy, Fats & Oils, Meat Preparations and Pet Food, these are just a few of Fiona’s experiences within the Manufacturing and Hospitality Sectors.
